Personal Background and Interests

Marine Conservationist and Biologist - My love for the ocean drew me to Maui in 1990 when I came here to research Maui’s humpback whales and worked as a naturalist on Maui’s whale watch boats.  I have enjoyed every moment on this beautiful island!


Proud Participant - Maui Surf Rider Foundation - Ocean Bliss Maui managed properties meet the requirements of the Rise Above Plastics on Vacation Maui Chapter and supply filtered water and reusable water bottles to our registered guests.

Founding Director The Marine Education Center of Cape Ann, a 501c3 non-profit organization since September 1993 working on behalf of Marine Education, Environmental Quality, Natural Resources, Conservation and Protection. I’ve organized a lot of beach clean ups!
